Hiroshima
is the largest city in the Chugoku region of western Honshu, the largest island

Hiroshima has
a bustling downtown area, the main feature of which is Hondori Street. Hondori is a pedestrian arcade that is closed to
traffic and lined with shops and restaurants. This is a wonderful place to let
you shop and eat! Running parallel to Hondori is Aioidori (Aioi Street), the
main street used by cars and trams.
Along Aioi Street
stand a few large department
stores and also other shopping
malls can be found. If you have gone to Hiroshma, don’t miss out to taste the “Hiroshima Style Okonomiyaki” …..Which is Hiroshima's specialties, it is one of the
famous cuisines in Japan. It really tasty…….^^
Many restaurants along both Hondori and Aioi streets offer the local specialty. There has many different restaurants to let you choose from, and is a convenient place in the downtown area to take a break and grab a bite to eat.
