4. South Korea's Top Waterfalls


In this post, I would like to share with you……the “South Korea’s top waterfalls”……!!!

 First, “Cheonjiyeon Waterfalls” 


It is a most famous waterfall that located at Jeju Island, South Korea. The name of Cheonjiyeon is means sky (Ch'eon) connected with land (ji)…..is a designated natural monument. The water falls into a large and artificial pond that has been created by two small dams to maintain the water at a certain level. There have eels, migrating ducks and several other animals live in this ponds and stream. Furthermore, Cheonjiyeon Waterfall is lighted at night and there have the large volcanic rocks to form land bridges that allow tourists to take photo in front of the waterfalls. Take a walk along the subtropical path towards the Cheojiyeon waterfalls for a kilometer and you will able to hear the magnificent sound of the waterfalls.

Second, “Jikso Waterfalls”  

Byeonsan Peninsula National Marine Park
It located inside the Byeonsan Peninsula National Marine Park and is an estimated 30 ft high! Known as one of the most beautiful sights in the Byeonsan Peninsula National Marine Park, the waterfalls is very popular with tourists.

Third, “Gugok Waterfalls”

It located near Bonghwasan Mountain in Gangwon-do. The waterfalls twist and turn nine different times before dropping down from a huge stone wall ending in a magnificent 50 meters cascade. Gugok Waterfalls freezes every winter and is a paradise for ice climbers.

Fourth, “Daeseung Waterfalls”

It located in the Seoraksan National Park and it was known as a major recreation site. The stream of the waterfalls is 88 meters long and if you climb up its steep and rocky path to the top you will reach an observatory area where you can take in the breathtaking scenes.
